Over its 60 years of continuous operations, as Giddings, Corby, Hynes, the company has grown to its present position as one of the premier U.S. retail brokers. CAPAX has earned the reputation as a nationwide leader in insurance and employee benefits services, providing Strategic and Innovative solutions for our clients.  Contributing to our growth is our fundamental commitment to Integrity and Trust in a complex business environment.

The CAPAX Companies currently has over 35 employees headquartered in Modesto, California.  The company provides a Unique combination of client services, specialized industry knowledge and focus on listening to the special needs of our clients. In addition, CAPAX provides the staff Expertise, delivering service and good advice without losing the best characteristics of a local entrepreneurial Professional – including direct access by clients to management, Personal Accountability at all levels, and a business built on long-standing personal relationships with our good clients, vendors and insurance carriers.


Although Giddings, Corby, Hynes, now part of the CAPAX Companies, was formed more than 50 years ago, our roots go back to the late 1800’s of Central California. Each generation of owners have been insurance advisors who took care of their clients the old fashioned way . . . we listen . . . person to person . . . to serve their unique needs.

Now CAPAX employs e-commerce technology – corresponds with hundreds of insurance companies, designs unique proprietary solutions for clients . . . all the old fashioned way . . . we listen . . . person to person . . . to serve our client.
